Risk Assessments

Our Qualified Fire Risk Assessment Service

We carry out comprehensive fire risk assessments for commercial and industrial premises.

We identify potential hazards and create a full report with recommendations for improvement. This is delivered in a digital format soon after completion.

Who is responsible?

In the UK, the responsibility for completing a fire risk assessment lies with the responsible person.

The responsible person is typically the employer, the owner, or the person in control of the premises. This responsibility is outlined in the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

There are usually five steps to a fire risk assessment:

  • Identify fire hazards

  • Identify people at risk

  • Evaluate and mitigate risks

  • Create a record, emergency plan, and train and inform all relevant parties

  • Regularly review the assessment

How often should fire risk assessments be reviewed?

Fire risk assessments should be reviewed regularly, and the specific interval depends on various factors such as changes in the premises, activities, or personnel.

In general, it is recommended to review the fire risk assessment at least annually, but more frequent reviews may be necessary if there are significant changes or incidents that affect fire safety.
